Tea Focus: Orange Spice White Tea

Tea Focus: Orange Spice White Tea

Now that the cold weather is settling in our Orange Spice White Tea has been a favorite for people settling into our cozy chairs in our lounge.  This delicious tea is a blend of white tea, orange peel, cinnamon, almond, apple, and rose petal.  White tea is essentially unprocessed as the leaves are simply plucked, withered dry and sent to the market for sale.  It is known for its delicate flavor, low level of caffeine and higher level of antioxidants.  Studies have shown that white tea may help to build your immune system, making it a perfect choice during this time of year when colds and other illnesses run rampant!  The nut, fruit, and spice flavors blend together to create a memorable tea experience, perfect to enjoy during the chill of November.

While you’re visiting us, be sure to pick up some Orange Spice to take home with you and share with friends and family!  To brew a perfect cup, we recommend that you use 1.5 teaspoons of tea leaves for an 8 ounce cup.  Steep the tea for 3-5 minutes in 175-180 °F water.  If you like stronger cup of tea, add more tea leaves or steep longer. Relax and enjoy!  If you have any questions about how to brew your tea at home, our friendly staff is always happy to answer any of your questions.  We also carry a variety of tea accessories to help you brew the perfect cup at home.  If Orange Spice isn’t “your cup of tea,” we’d love to make some recommendations based on your taste and preferences.
