From our Classic Matcha Latte to Yuzu Sparkling Matcha, Kampai bar blend is what we use to create most of our signature matcha drinks at the tea lounge. Bold and earthy with prominent astringency, this matcha is also good for cooking or adding to smoothies. Not recommended to prepare as usucha style.
Prepping Suggestions: For a straight up drink (Americano style) , use 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder per 8 ounces of water. Begin by mixing a small amount of water with the matcha powder. Stir or whip with a match whisk until completely blended. Top off with hot or cold water.
For a matcha latte, use double the mount of matcha powder and mix together with a small amount of water. Pour over a cup of hot or cold milk and sweeten with honey or sugar to taste.
