Our story with all things tea began over a decade ago from a surprise anniversary gift that sparked our interest in tea. This deep passion, turned obsession, developed into a side-hustle basement business that's now a thriving online tea shop and brick-and-mortar tea lounge in Albany, NY.

We're a family-run and built on the art, culture, and joy of tea
Growing up in Thailand, the culture of generous hospitality, rich history, respect, and the sustainability of farm-to-cup tea is ingrained in Joyce - values that guide the company and are infused throughout all that we do today.
These days, Joyce can often be found whisking her beloved matcha or crafting the most unique and delicious loose-leaf tea blends, while Matt enjoys spreading the rich world of tea through workshops, classes, and tea talks both in the lounge and around the Capital Region area.
And of course, you can usually catch them both, along with their three teenage daughters, in the tea lounge - so come visit!

Matt's current go to with a flavor that is on par with unsweetened cocoa. He enjoys it brewed gong fu style (twice the amount of tea with a small amount of water and steeped for 15-30 seconds, 5-7 times.)
