Refund policy

We hope you’re ecstatic with your purchase, but we understand this can’t be the case 100% of the time. You can send us an email at shortandstouttea@gmail.com and we will make every effort to remedy the situation. If a return and refund is needed, please follow the policy below:

 

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after the shipment is marked “delivered” to your address to request a return. To be eligible for a return and refund, the item must be in the same condition that you received it–unused and in its original packaging. We make sure to inspect each item before it leaves our store and unfortunately, we will not be able to refund any used items or ceramic/ glass products that are broken upon use. Since tea is considered a perishable food product, we cannot accept a return unless it is unopened in the original sealed package. Please understand that we cannot provide a refund if the issue is a matter of personal taste. Shipping costs, sale items, and gift cards cannot be refunded at this time. 

 

To start a return, please contact us at the email above. Please provide an order number and the reason for your return. We may ask for photos. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label. Please note that the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. We ask that you mail the item(s) to us within 7 days of receiving the label. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return or after the 7-day period will not be accepted. All returns will need to be sent to the following address:

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving the shipment. Take some photos and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or if you receive a wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exchanges
We are happy to exchange any products that is unopend or unused AND in its original packaging within 15 days after you receive the shipment. Please contact us for an exchange so we can assist you with the next step. 

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund was approved within 10 days. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
