Grown in Shizuoka, Japan, this culinary matcha is harvested in the summer time. It is bold and robust in flavor. Great for cooking or adding to smoothies. Not recommended to be drunk straight up. 

Prepping Suggestions: For a straight matcha drink, use 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder per 8 ounces of water. Begin making the drink by blending a small amount of water with the matcha powder. Stir or whip with a match whisk until completely blended. Top off with hot or cold water.

 

For a matcha latte, use double the mount of matcha powder and mix together with a small amount of water. Pour over a cup of hot or cold milk and sweeten with honey or sugar to taste.
